Chromatic Alginate 1kg

Chromatic Alginate is the material used to make the mould for pouring the casting powder into. The alginate we supply we believe to be the finest alginate available. The Alginate replicates all the tiny unique lines found on babies hands and feet. Using Alginate enables you to get a fast set mould, so your baby doesn't have to have their hand or foot in the impression mixture for long, unlike other impression materials found on the market. The results are absolutely amazing.

We believe the mould/impression mixture (colour changing Alginate) we use is top of the range. Chromatic Alginate changes colour from the time you begin mixing, submerging your babies hand/foot, to the time it sets, so it is very easy to use. It doesn't actually matter if your baby wriggles a little whilst their hand/foot is submerged in the Alginate.

There is enough Chromatic Alginate in our large bag (1kg) to create up to 14 moulds and our regular bag (454g) will enable you to create up to 6 moulds, depending on the age of the children and size of their hands and feet (average size baby up to 12 months old).
