Please read our Terms and Conditions below. When ordering and paying for goods through Pure & Elegant online you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
Purchases can be made via our website, telephone, post or via collection in person in Brighton, East Sussex.
We endeavour to dispatch all stock items the same day once payment is cleared prior to 2.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive (exclusive of Bank Holidays). Orders placed on stock items over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday (exclusive of Bank Holidays).
Once payment is cleared an email is sent indicating date of dispatch and expected date of delivery. Should an item be out of stock then you will be informed within 24 hours. We use a courier service for next working day delivery (between 8am – 6pm) and Royal Mail for registered items within the Mainland UK. Additional charges will be required for delivery outside of the Mainland UK. We will send an email informing you of these charges prior to dispatch of goods ordered.
If you are not available at the address provided to sign for your goods via courier then our courier will attempt to leave your goods with a neighbour. If this is not possible the courier should leave a calling card and will take back your goods to their nearest depot. Please ensure you contact them immediately to rearrange delivery as the couriers will only hold your item for 3 working days, including the date they first attempted delivery.
If the courier is unsuccessful in delivering your item the second time they will implement additional charges which will be passed onto you (the Customer). However, if the goods are not collected and returned to Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes the additional return costs will be passed to the Customer as the couriers unfortunately charge Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes again for this service.
If your item did not arrive as per the expected date of delivery please contact us and we will do our best to locate the whereabouts of your goods as soon as possible.
Damaged goods must be reported within 24 hours of receipt via email enquiries@pureandelegant.co.uk or via telephone 01273 277688. Additionally if damaged goods are received via a courier then you must sign for them as ‘DAMAGED upon receipt’, otherwise you are signing stating you are happy with the order in which the goods have been received. We advise you to check the goods immediately. Unfortunately failure to do so will result in you being liable to pay for the delivery charges.

Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes adhere to the distance selling regulations (UK) 2000. You may return any “off the shelf” goods to us for a full refund (excluding delivery charges), providing they are returned unused, unopened in their original condition with original labels still intact and original packaging suitable for resell, within 7 days after the date of receipt. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the returned goods reach us in the condition stated above and that the customer has arranged and paid for delivery.
Pure and Elegant Baby Keepsakes will not accept any goods returned without the customer firstly emailing or telephoning us within 24 hours of receiving the goods ordered and informing us of the problem. Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes will then issue the Customer with a returns number which must be displayed clearly on the outside of the package. The postage costs must be paid for by the Customer and not by Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes.
All returned items must be sent via registered insured post/delivery (traceable) as Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes cannot be held responsible for returned parcels that are lost in the post/transit.
Once returned items have been received they will be thoroughly checked. Approved returned items will be refunded (less the delivery charges). However goods in an unsuitable condition may be refused or offered a partial refund. After 7 days all goods/items are the responsibility of the Customer and returns will not be accepted.
Returns on commissioned pieces/bespoke goods will only be accepted upon a significant flaw or if faulty provided they are reported within 7 days after the date of receipt. In this instance we will offer to repair the flaw. If this is unsatisfactory we will require that the Customer return the goods to us. Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes will offer to replace the goods or provide a full or partial refund (depending on the circumstances).
Pure and Elegant Baby Keepsakes take great care in ensuring our descriptions of our products and images are correct. However slight variations in colour may occur and we cannot be held responsible for this as this is due to various browser software. Photographs are for representational purposes only and are not necessarily to scale.
The content of our website is protected by International copyright laws. The website has been produced by Pure & Elegant for its sole use. No images shown and produced on the website are to be used or distributed without prior written consent from Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes. Unauthorised use will be considered as being in contravention of the Copyright Act.
The commissioned and bespoke pieces remains Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes property until payment in full has been paid and funds are cleared. The copyright of the piece, along with the right to use the images of the commissioned and bespoke pieces remain the property of Pure & Elegant Baby Keepsakes at all times, unless negotiated prior to the Customer’s payment in full.
